Yes the city can have legal grounds for placement of these towers.  Under the FCC 1-888-225-5322, which states that cities can make wireless companies follow city codes.

ALL FILES OPEN FOR PUBLIC VIEW, at City of Oceanside Planning Desk.

 

SOUTH Oceanside Neighborhood  (CINGULR, SPRINT, VERIZON, & two other potential carriers NOTICE OF RENEWAL/ NEW BUILD @ (Park n Ride) Crown Castle.  Crown Castle has applied to Build a New Tower next 65 FEET to the Existing 52 FEET TALL TOWERS and will HOLD MORE ANTENNAS (designed as a monopine), but no final approval. This has been on-going since 2006!!!   The Existing Tower Has NOT finalized a proper asthetic design for the neighborhood for the last 10 years, which is a Main Entrance to Oceanside.  Crown Castle has Not Operated in appropriate placement or up keep to preserve property values, or quality of life in a Residential Neighborhood and we ask thier Renewal Application be denied.   

 

SOUTH Oceanside Neighborhood   NOTICE of RENEWAL   3 ANTENNAS on Top of SURF RIDE Roof TOP - RIGHT IN LINE WITH RESIDENTS LIVING BEHIND & INFRONT of BUILDING.   

 

FIRE MOUNTAIN  NEIGHBORHOOD (VERIZON) NOTICE OF APPLICATION to construct a 55ft. Monopine 14 ANTENNAS plus SATILLITE DISH-for a 15 year LEASE!!!!, at other edge of property of the North Coast United Methodist Church, 1501 Kelly Street.

FIRE MOUNTAIN  NEIGHBORHOOD  (T-MOBILE) NOTICE OF APPLICATION  for ADDING 12 ANTENNAS  Under ALL Ready existing Towers In-between Beams of Cell Tower Hosted at North Coast United Methodist Church, 1501 Kelly Street.  ABOVE A HEADSTART PRE-SCHOOL, PLAYGROUND & CHURCH

FIRE MOUNTAIN NEIGHBORHOOD  (SPRINT) NOTICE OF  RENEWAL at North Coast United Methodist Church, 1501 Kelly Street. SPRINT. Which hosts huge antennas. ABOVE A HEADSTART PRE-SCHOOL, PLAYGROUND & CHURCH. Our Question is the Cell Tower Design WAS NOT FIT FOR CODE, but built? & Now the The Above T-Mobile wants to go in also?  WHO IS THINKING ABOUT THE KIDS, who are still developing, studies show that these new technologies could interfere with developing brains. Kids are at the HIGHEST RISK!!!! These placements are totally inappropriate.

 

IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF OCEANSIDE, and just recieved NOTICE FOR CELL TOWERS/ANTENNAS near your home for RENEWAL OR NEW PERMIT.....         JOIN OCAFN!

 

 


      Here is our current sky line view: 2 towers in place hosting an abundance of antennas. BOTH of these CELLULAR TOWERS are within a stones throw away as indicated with the red line.

    Cricket Communications got the OK by City Council Members, Kern, Chavez, & Feller.

    ***We are NOW asking the AMAZON BIKES to cut LEASE with Cricket Communications to Construct 3 more intrusive antenna/towers in our neighborhood; These new antenna/towers will  stand approximatley 50ft from homes & Disrupt Single Family Homes VIEWS, Quality of life, who all ready live with unsightly Towers.

       The Towers Pictured Above are Very Inappropriate to the surrounding residents, neighborhoods, environments and the ...........

    • First tower sits right across the street from numerous homes and the Protected Buena Vista Lagoon.

     

    • The second tower is built to look like a church tree house, and sits right above a pre-school and playground.  It also is Invasive and TOTALLY Obtrusive into neighborhoods and the surrounding environments. 

    More antenna placements do not enhance property values or your quality of life.  Your propety rights are ignored when you lose the natrual environment and that includes views of the sky, trees and open space. 

     The Buena Vista Lagoon is just on the side from the 3 proposed antennas, presenting another unspoken environmental concern.

     

    The City Planning Dept. does not have accountability of exact numbers of cell towers/antennas.  The City therefore has no conclusive way to determine if the Cellular Towers/Antennas are needed.   PLEASE JOIN OCAFN TO GET THE RESPONSIBLE CHANGE NEEDED TO SAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOODS!!!!
